Bubble Bath Bear

This bear doesn’t seem to mind that his bubble bath is ice cold. He just likes the bubbles.

Photographer Sergey Gorshkov took the photo in Kamchatka, eastern Russia, as part of a project he’s been working on for seven years following a group of bears.

The “bubble bath” is a pool at the bottom of a waterfall that whips up a lot of foam.

Gorshkov told The Sun:

“Many people who see this picture for the first time think it was buried in the snow and only his head was left outside.

“I have named this picture ‘Tide,’ after a washing powder, because it seems that the bear was sitting in a large bath with foam.”

He said he’d spent a month living in a tent by the waterfall and taking photos of the animals catching salmon.
