The same people who cannot watch this video, will gladly eat beef/chicken/lamb for dinner. What hypocrites. Is it Ok for you to eat animals but you do not want to see the gory details Is it?
Murder is Murder, you cannot justify it in the name of religion. Any God/religion that demands the sacrifice of a helpless and defenseless animal is not worth worshipping. I have seen videos of Halaal/Kosher sacrifice and there is nothing humane/kind about it. Stop spreading myths and lies about your religion.
We do sacrifice animals on our Eid festivals- but not in such a cruel and inhumane way. And there are some rules before slaying an animal:
- There shouldn't be a crowd around which would make the animal terrified.
- The knife should not be brandished to the animal.
- The knife should be sharp and the slaying must be as fast as it is possible- to shorten the painful moment for the animal.
NazEbr Agreed. As I understand it, the Muslim method of slaughter is almost identical to the Jewish kosher slaughter method, which would mean this unfortunate animal would have been unsuitable for consumption during the festival anyway. As an American & a US Army veteran, I'm embarrassed & ashamed by the behavior of these members of our military. It was inexcusable.
Signed and emailed link to all friends. I am deeply saddened. I couldn't watch the video but I could feel the helplessness and pain.
Signed it but can not watch it. I agree with all that you say about this issue Michael. Terrible !!
